As with DTM data, GIS Terrain Loader Pro requires that you do a little work to prepare your GIS VectorData before importing into Unity Engine. The processes to meet the specifications are very straightforward, but necessary to ensure you achieve the best results in Unity. We’ve created Step-by-Step Tutorials to show you how to prepare data GIS Softwares (QGIS and Globalmapper).
GIS Terrain Loader Pro support more functionality to automate the process of preparing your data, such as supporting more data formats,
read re-projected data in different projections.
GIS Terrain Loader Pro initially supports the following Formats:
*.Osm : OpenStreetMap Informations ,
*.Shp : ESRI Geometry data,
*.GPX : GPS Exchange Format",
*.KML: Keyhole Markup Language
*.Geo-Json: Geographical Vector GeoJSON features
Projection/Datum
Your VectorData data can be stored in any projection/datum combination, GIS Terrain Loader Pro will re-project your data to the same projection as your DEM data when you import it.
Vector Shapes
GIS Terrain Loader Pro now supports Point/Multipoint, Linestring/Multilinestring, Polygons/Multipolygons. (Read more)
