• GIS Terrain Loader is able to read the real world metadata from almost of Geo-DEMs files, for that there are additional options for controlling Terrain Dimensions :

- Auto Detection : in case that we are using a Geo-DEM file, by using this option GTL will read the metadata and determine automatically  the terrain dimension in [Km], The terrain width equal to the average of the lengths of the upper and lower parallels, Height equal to the length of the meridian.

- Manual : In case of using DEMs without any Geo-references data (Png, Raw, Ter, Non Geo-referenced Tiff like moon surface...) or changing the real world terrain dimensions we set 'Terrain Dimension mode' to 'Manual'.
